A Pennsylvania man was found guilty and sentenced to 120 years in prison for creating a huge database of child pornography that included images and videos of him sexually assaulting children and infants.
John Jackey Worman, 42, possessed over 1 million images and 11,000 videos of child pornography when the FBI conducted a search of his suburban Philadelphia home. Much of the material was collected with the aid of his ex-girlfriend, Dorothy Pawdzik, who ran a childcare service.
Worman has been deemed a psychopath by sentencing judge, Lawrence F. Stengel, despite no previously documented mental-health issues or childhood trauma.
He was ultimately convicted after a former victim alerted authorities that he had been abused. The victim reported the abuse after watching an episode of the television show “Law & Order” highlighting sexual abuse against children.
Prosecutors claimed that Worman and Pawdzik, who has also been sentenced to 30 years in prison, routinely undressed young girls and posed them as women. Prawdzik also held a camera as her partner attempted to rape an infant and would participate in a three-way sexual act with a 10-year-old.
Despite the heinous conviction, Worman remains content with his behavior. “I am totally at peace with everything I have done,” Worman said.
The victim who first made a report to authorities is now 21, married, and expecting her first child. “I’m just happy that it’s all over,” she said.
