Six House Democrats, including Pelosi ally Rep. Anna Eshoo (D-Calif.), allege that CIA Director Leon Panetta gave them a secret briefing in June during which he admitted that the CIA had misled Congress about War on Terror interrogation tactics.
Their claim would corroborate House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s (D-Calif.) accusations, made in May, that the CIA had deceived her about the treatment of detainees.
