Alaska Governor and Former Republican Vice-Presidential Candidate Sarah Palin has written an editorial in the Washington Post blasting President Obama’s Cap and Trade Bill. The editorial called “A ‘Cap and Tax’ Dead End” critiqued the recent Cap and Trade Bill predicting it would lead to higher unemployment and energy costs. Palin proposed using more of America’s natural resources such as natural gas, oil, and nuclear power.
Palin also made a point of attacking the media saying “Unfortunately, many in the national media would rather focus on the personality-driven political gossip of the day than on the gravity of these challenges.”
Palin ended the editorial directly slamming Obama saying “Can America produce more of its own energy through strategic investments that protect the environment, revive our economy and secure our nation? Yes, we can. Just not with Barack Obama’s energy cap-and-tax plan. ”
