Mark O’Hair, another defense contractor with ties to John Murtha, has plead guilty to corruption charges for not disclosing his position with a company that received $200,000 in earmarks. Last week Richard Ianieri, the CEO of Coherent Systems International Corp. plead guilty to accepting kickbacks totaling $200,000. Murtha was the Member of Congress who sponsored the earmark that funded both of the companies the men were associated with.
As of yet there are no allegations Murtha knew about these irregularities, but it certainly seems the sharks are circling.
